Morning Round-up: Wildcats Rolling

The Rye Country Day boys’ lacrosse team continued its tear Monday, throttling host Greens Farms 10-2. Harry Razook paced the team with four goals and an assist.

The Holy Child lacrosse team fought their way back to .500 with an impressive showing against NYC’s Convent of the Sacred Heart. The Gryphons defeated them 16-4 on the strength of 13 first half goals. Lucy Flanagan, Mary Ferrera and Helen Brosnan each had three goals.

In a match between local rivals, the Rye Country Day girls’ golf team defeated Holy Child 4-1. Christine Bryda (HC) def. Catie Cole (RCDS) 4&3, Skye McCaine (RCDS) def. Morrin Carlin (HC) 1up, Lauren Schumaker (RCDS) def. Leslie Barnard (HC) 3&1, Taryn Clary (RCDS) def. Paige Kennard (HC) 3&1, and Larke Nimocks(RCDS) def. Maria Santengelo(HC) 4&3.
