Morning Round-up: Busy Weekend in Store

In their second game of the year, Holy Child’s lacrosse team dropped a 16-12 decision to visiting St. Luke’s. Charlotte Elcock led the Gryphons with six goals and one assist, while Mary Ferrara scored three goals. Helen Brosnan, Lucy Flanagan, and Catherine Ann Gray each had one goal. Rachael Vallerelli made 15 saves.

Holy Child’s golf team got their season off on the right foot with a 4-0-1 defeat of Hackley. Christina Bryde won 2 up, Morrin Carlin 1 up, Leslie Barnard was even, Paige Kennedy won 5/4 and Maria Santangelo pulled off a 5/3 victory.
