Morning Round-up: Alidadi Saves 31 in Victory

The Rye Country Day boys’ hockey team sent back Iona Prep Wednesday with a 2-1 victory. Jeff Horowitz scored the eventual game-winner on a breakaway in the second period, and Shayne Bingham also netted a goal for the Wildcats. Omeed Alidadi made 31 big saves in goal.

Coming off their win at the Princeton tournament, the Rye Country Day girls’ hockey team dropped a 6-0 decision on the road at Greenwich Academy. Nicole Grosser made 43 saves in the loss.

The Rye Country Day boys’ squash team kept their hot start to the season going with a 6-1 win against Horace Mann at home. Dan Judd, Matt Stevens, Michael Walsh, Grayson Clary, John Shuck and Thomas Galluccio all won for the Wildcats.
