Morning Round-up: Holy Child improves to 3-1-1

Holy Child’s field hockey team was the only local varsity team to suit up yesterday, and they were able to shut down Marymount on the road 2-0. It was the Gryphons’ second consecutive win. Jillian Murphy and Catherine Ann Gray scored on assists from Megan McLaughlin and Helen Brosnan. Holy Child’s defense played superbly, allowing zero shots against goalkeeper Carrigan Henderson.
